HA Skinbooster – Injectable Moisturiser

Injectable Moisturiser is a Hyaluronic Acid injection treatment that not only boosts and hydrates your skin, but also stimulates collagen and bio-remodels sagging skin by improving fat tissue renewal.
Injectable Moisturiser is one of the most popular treatments available in Singapore.

What are the benefits of Injectable Moisturiser?

Deep skin hydration

Plumps up fine lines and wrinkles

Boost and Stimulate collagen and elastin levels at a cellular level

Less risk of lumpiness (No BDDE)

One of the highest concentration of HA on the market (64mg/2ml)

How does Injectable Moisturiser work?

Injectable Moisturiser is the first BDDE-free stabilised injectable Hyaluronic Acid (HA) based treatment made for treating skin laxity.

With one of the highest concentrations of HA in the market, the stabilised HA lasts in the skin for about 28 days.

During this time, the slow release of HA kickstarts stimulation of 4 different types of collagen and elastin.

The thermal cross-linking, a patented NAHYCO technology, changes the behaviour of HA by forming a hybrid of complexes – H-HA and L-HA. This hybrid of HA allows the injected substance to be released slowly and lasts longer allowing bioremodeling to take place.

The production of 4 different types of collagen (type I , type III collagen , type IV and type VII collagen) in the skin are increased.

L-HA as a hybrid complex is released slowly as it is more stable and this decreases the risk of inflammation, providing the Hydro effect.

H-HA provides a stable HA architecture in the dermis that allows volumetric replacement, giving the Lift effect.

How does Injectable Moisturiser work?

Injectable Moisturiser, Skin Booster, Polynucleotides Skin Booster: What’s the Difference?

Conventionally Hyaluronic Acid (HA) injections does one of the 2 things – Hydration or Volumisation.

Although Injectable Moisturiser also contains HA it does a lot more in boosting and stimulating 4 types of collagen and elastin. This restores the overall integrity of the skin to achieve a lifting effect.

Skin Booster:

HA, as a skin booster, is injected at multiple points under the skin to restore hydration and improve the elasticity of the skin at the injection site. However, this is not a frequently performed treatment as the associated downtime is not always socially acceptable.

Polynucleotides Skin Booster:

Polynucleotides Skin Booster is an injectable polynucleotide skin booster from Korea that is made of salmon DNA.

Polynucleotides Skin Booster healer works by stimulating skin repair, regeneration and reducing inflammation.

This is great for patients with fine lines, dull skin or acne scarring.

However, this procedure requires multiple injections over the whole face with a downtime of 3-5 days.

The procedure is also more painful due to the multiple injection points, compared to the quick and easy Injectable Moisturiser procedure.

Injectable Moisturiser Vs Volite Vs skinbooster (Restylane) Vs biostimulators (Ellanse, radiesse) Vs Polynucleotides Skin Booster

HA, as a filler, as its name suggests is used to fill up areas of volume loss that we experience when we age. This can result in an instant lifting effect by boosting the volume lost in the treated region. However there is no effect on the skin and does not improve the skin texture.

Injectable Moisturiser:
Effective, Safe and Minimally Invasive?

1

Longevity – the NAHYCO Hybrid technology stabilised HA complex lasts 30x longer than other non cross-linked HA fillers.

2

Low viscosity – Non BDDE cross linking allow this high HA concentration product to be highly spreadable and minimises risk of lumpiness compared to other injectable HA

3

Highest HA concentration in the market – maximal hydration effect

4

Patented hybrid HA – minimises inflammatory response, increased longevity by slow release

5

Collagen and Elastin Bio Remodelling – the hybrid complex stimulates collagen and elastin at the different depths of the skin – the epidermis dermis and the superficial adipose layer.

2

Low viscosity – Non BDDE cross linking allow this high HA concentration product to be highly spreadable and minimises risk of lumpiness compared to other injectable HA

Is there downtime for Injectable Moisturiser treatment?

You may have some bumps and slight swelling at the injection point right after the treatment, but these will subside within 24 hours given that it spreads easily into the skin.

Small bruises over the injection site can be easily concealed as large blood vessels are avoided with the specially designed BAP injection technique with minimal injection points and bruises are not likely to happen.

How many injection points are required in Injectable Moisturiser treatment?

For face treatment using Injectable Moisturiser, a total of 10 injection points are needed. (5 injection points per side of your face.)

face treatment using Injectable Moisturiser

Compared to previous skinbooster treatments which generally require more than 30 injection points, Injectable Moisturiser has the benefit of fewer injection points. This reduces pain and reduces risk of bruising.

This is especially advantageous for busy individuals who want to minimize recovery time.

For neck treatment using Injectable Moisturiser, a total of 10 injection points are needed.

For body treatment using Injectable Moisturiser, a total of 10 injection points are needed.
Injectable Moisturiser Body is used commonly on:

The Inner Arm

The Inner Arm profhilo

The Abdomen

This is a commonly requested treatment for skin laxity and stretch marks on the abdomen area, particularly after child birth.

Think you need a Consultation?

Is Injectable Moisturiser painful?

With topical anesthesia (numbing cream), Injectable Moisturiser is well-tolerated by most patients.

What is the treatment protocol for Injectable Moisturiser?

Two sessions of Injectable Moisturiser are usually required, spaced 1 month apart.

Compared to previous skinbooster treatments which generally require 3-4 treatments, Injectable Moisturiser has the benefit of fewer treatment sessions. This is especially advantageous for busy individuals.

One syringe of Injectable Moisturiser is used in each treatment. One syringe of Injectable Moisturiser is 2cc in volume.

Patients with more skin laxity may benefit from additional Injectable Moisturiser injection in the following months.

How quickly can I see the results of Injectable Moisturiser?

Instant hydration effect can be seen as early as 1 week from the treatment, with the best results seen at 1 month following the treatment. Lifting and tightening of the skin is an effect of bio-remodelling, hence it will be evident over 3-6 months.

How long does Injectable Moisturiser last?

Generally, the effects last for about 9 months to 1 year. Studies recommend a repeat cycle (2 injections, 1 month apart) in 6 months.

Price of Injectable Moisturiser in Singapore

Prices/cost of Injectable Moisturiser ranges per treatment session.

Yes, combining Injectable Moisturiser and energy based devices like Lasers and Ultherapy improves skin pigmentation and texture to improve your skin synergistically.

It is recommended to combine Injectable Moisturiser with treatments like Ultherapy to maximise the results of collagen stimulation.

Can Injectable Moisturiser be combined with Anti-wrinkle Injection / Fillers?

Injectable Moisturiser is an effective treatment on its own.

However, it does not treat all your problems. A combination with Anti-wrinkle Injection and HA fillers for wrinkle reduction and volumisation respectively can help you to achieve better results.

It will be best to consult an experienced doctor to discuss your concerns and aesthetic objectives.

Can Injectable Moisturiser be used to treat other body parts?

The Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP) technique is developed by Injectable Moisturiser specially in treating the lower face and neck.

Many physicians have also used Injectable Moisturiser to treat the decolletage, hands, knees and body areas where there is skin laxity.

Results have been encouraging.

I have done other injectables before. Can I still do Injectable Moisturiser?

It is important that you discuss any previous injections you’ve had before you proceed.

Generally Injectable Moisturiser, a non-BDDE cross-linked product is not likely to cause reaction with other HA skin boosters, which are common products injected in the same treatment area.

However, there is insufficient information to study the interaction between these different injectable products.

How do I get the best results from Injectable Moisturiser?

Accurate Diagnosis

Injectable Moisturiser is a versatile and holistic treatment. However, certain problems cannot be solved with Injectable Moisturiser.

An accurate facial analysis and diagnosis of your problems ensures that the correct treatments are used to address your concerns.

An expert and honest doctor should be able to determine the appropriate treatments for you and explain if Injectable Moisturiser is the right treatment for you.

Experience with Facial Injections

Injectable Moisturiser is an effective treatment- in the right hands.

Although Injectable Moisturiser only requires 5 injections per side of your face, it does not mean that it is a technically easy procedure.

Having extensive experience with facial anatomy and injection techniques is important to ensure that Injectable Moisturiser is accurately injected to the correct layer of your skin for optimal results.

Comprehensive range of solutions

Injectable Moisturiser might NOT be the only answer to your concerns.

With a range of injectables (Anti-wrinkle Injection, Fillers, Skin Boosters) and energy devices (Ultherapy), a comprehensive and customised treatment strategy beats treatment using only 1 type of technology.
